Song of The Sea

‘Song of The Sea’ is a 35m (114ft) GRP sloop displacing 127t and launched at Nautor Swan in 2002. She arrived in our Yard during September 09 for a wide range of service and maintenance work.

  • Project work included a comprehensive range of electrical servicing plus new sail control switches, Windlass controls AC metering, bilge controls,Shaft  bushing,bowthruster switches,fuel tank metering,main engine alternators,house batteries, air handlers and electric curtains. Also service of the main engine and generators plus a range of general service work on bearings, drive shaft, steering cables and thrusters.

     

     

     

     

  • The Rig was removed for full inspection,survey, service and replacement. Plus service of mandrel, Boom,  running rigging and winches.

    The hull was repainted and areas of the superstructure plus antifoul.

    Other work covered Service gyroscope,tender electrics and engine upgrade,radar,mast electronics, nav computers and installing additional B&G instruments plus overhaul liferafts.
