Refit shed

This is our largest completely enclosed work area.

The capacity with door closed is:

Longer vessels can be handled depending on work required. We also have the ability to remove the centre span of the shed roof to allow for yacht masts.

The area has a convenient mezzanine floor which runs the length of the shed on the port side. Situated on this floor is the captains office with dedicated telephone/fax and internet connection, and toilets.

The shed has compressed air throughout, large spray booth, three phase power outlets and water.

Shed 25

This unit is in 2 open plan divisions which can be utilised together or closed off as separate bays:

These secure units can be used to store and paint vessels year round or utilized as workshops for larger projects. The units have both single and three phase power as well as compressed air and water.

Shed 1

This secure unit can also be used to store and paint vessels year round. A mezzanine floor is located down the entire length of the left hand side of the shed. Available services include three phase power, water, etc.

Temporary covered facility

This facility is most suitable for medium to long projects. This facility is used in conjunction with our 400 ton sideslip and is erected once the vessel has been hauled. The shed is custom fitted to the size of the vessel and provides a economical weatherproof structure for repaint and refit work.

Uncovered Hardstand

At Orams Marine Village we also have 6,000 sq m of uncovered work area available. Daily charge includes use of power, water and compressed air.

Marina's

Marina's are available up to 55m. These are fully serviced with three phase power (120 or 63 amp supply) and water. Telephones are available as well as wireless internet access or ADSL phone lines. There are either 4m draft or 5m draft marinas available.

The marinas have easy access with unlimited air draft and all tide access to 3.5m draft. Bottom is silt and there is very little tide flow. Marinas are floating and well lit.
